Online Registration for JYD Membership, KOM, & Birch Passes Now Open

In conjunction with CCN, registration for JYD Memberships, KOM and Birch Passes is now ready to go!

Those of you who had MCA memberships last year will already be familiar with and have a profile for CCN's website.

All you need to do is access the link provided below which with take you to our CCN Portage Junk Yard Dogs Membership Page. Once you have logged in, you will be able to:

1) Access the "Category Details" tab to purchase an individual JYD membership or a family membership. (Where it says "Category" use the downward arrow on the screen to chose the option you require)

2) Access the "Category Details" tab to register for the KOM program. (Where it says "Category" use the downward arrow on the screen to chose the option you require)

3) Access the "Store" Tab to purchase your Birch pass.

Once you have made all your required purchases, you will also have to access the CCN website again to ensure that you have purchased your required MCA licence. Unfortunately at this time, this is a two step process which requires paying separately for MCA licenses then from the purchases outlined above.

As this is a new process, please contact us with any difficulties you may encounter along the way.

Where we are headed in 2013-AGM Power Point Presentation

After reviewing the survey results that you, the members submitted, it is clear that we can look at several ways to enhance the JYD club. One of the ideas was to better promote our club and when we looked at our logo, as it existed, it was clear that Junk Yard Dogs (while definitely a catchy club title) did not mention what we were about. Our revised logo will clearly show the masses that we are a Cycling Club!!!!!

Thank-you to those of you who were able to attend our AGM this past Sunday. We hope that you have a better understanding of where the club is headed in the upcoming year.

For those of you unable to attend, below is the link to review the Power Point Presentation from the AGM which included survey results, the strategic plan, as well as award nominees and recipients.

Looking forward to the upcoming season where the JYD Cycling Club focus will swing a bit from the "racing" perspective to the "recreational rider" (don't worry racers, we are still planning to host the Stage Race, KOM race, Cyclocross race and perhaps a few time trials too).
